Lincoln MKS Concept Shows the
brand's future
Lincoln this week displayed a
concept that reveals the direction the division's flagship
car line will take. The new concept, called MKS, also
introduces Lincoln's new alphabetic naming system.
The MKS is built on the same basic
platform as the Ford Five Hundred and Mercury Montego,
according to media insiders. The MKS concept has a 315-hp
V8, six-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel
drive.
The production MKS is likely to
debut in early 2008 as a 2009 model.
